This is a model tour we can organize for you starting from picking you from the Bandaranayake International airport. You can go through this itinerary for getting an idea but you have freedom to do any change on this in order to match your taste and requirement.

Day 1

You will be picked up from the airport by our vehicle and proceed to our hotel.
Visit Aukana – the magnificient Buddha statue formed on rock and Kalawewa – the reservoir
See the surrounding area including Rajanganaya with our safari jeep
Overnight stay at our own guest house “ LLT Tourist INN “ – Wilpattu or you can get a night camping in a jungle environment.

Day 3

After breakfast proceed to Anuradhapura visit the ancient city. . You will visit the Sri Maha Bodhi (the oldest tree in the world with a written history and it is a sapling from the original tree under which Buddha got enlighted), the Brazen Palace, the Ruwanveli Seya Dagoba (biggest dagoba in Sri Lanka), the Thuparama Dagoba (oldest dagoba), the Lankarama Dagoba, the Elephant Pond, the Abhayagiriya Monastery Complex, the world famous Samadhi Buddha Statue and the Isurumuniya Temple.

In the afternoon proceed back to our “LLT Tourist Inn”

Day 4

You will proceed to Sigiriya.Enroute get a Elephant back safari on Habarana , you may get a village tour in interested. There are optional activities such as Ayurveda, boat ride on a lake, to get a traditional Sri Lankan village lunch, relaxing on a lakeside , etc.
In the afternoon you will have the opportunity to climb the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, built 5th century A.D (claimed by some as the 8th wonder in the world), see the water garden, bolder garden, mural paintings, the mirror wall, the lion's paws and the royal swimming pool on

Day 5

After breakfast proceed to Trincomalee.Trincomalee is a port city in on the southern coast of Sri Lanka about 113 miles south of Jaffna. Trincomalee is one of the main centers of Tamil speaking cultur region the island. The Nilaweli beach nearby is one of the best in Asia. You may go to the Pigeons Island by a boat  or just have a boat ride around the lagoon.The beaches are used for surfing,scuba diving,snorkeling and whale watching. The city also has the largest Dutch Fort in Sri Lanka.
Visit “ Konneshwaram Kovil” – Hindu temple located on a hill top which is having a 360 degree view of Trincomalee.

Day 6

Leave Trincomalee after breakfast and proceed to ancient city of Polonaruwa.Sightseeing of the ancient city of Polonnaruwa (10th-12th century A.D). You will visit the modern museum, the Parakrama Samudra (gigantic reservoir made by king Parakrama the Great), Statue of King Parakrama, the Library Shrine, Palace of King Parakrama, the Kumara Pokuna (pond used by royal family with the water flowing system), the Shiva temple, the Thuparama shrine room with its glittering statues, the Alahana Monastery Complex, the Gal Vihare (a master peace of stone carving), the Lotus Pond and a traditional wood carving factory. After your afternoon tea you will proceed to Dambulla.Visit the Golden Temple which is a cave temple of Kings Era with lots of paintings and statues. It is on a rock with a panoramic view.

Day 7

Start your journey to kandy. Enroute, visit a spice garden at Matale.
You will visit the Temple of the Tooth, the museum and in the afternoon , you have opportunity to do shopping in Kandy.
In the evening, withness one of the most precious and unique cultural dance show.

Day 8

Visit Lankathilaka Temple, Ambekka Devalaya with wood carvings and Peradeniya Botanical gardens.
In the afternoon , you can go to Elephant Orphanage – Pinnawala or start your journey to Nuwaraeliya – the Little England of Sri Lanka. On the way, you can witness magnificient sceneries of hill country with number of cascading waterfalls, tea estates.

Day 9

Relax by the Gregory lake. Mist covered hills are surrounded by you.You can get a pony ride, boat ride or just have a walk around the lake with the view of Pidurutalagala mountain range – the highest in Sri Lanka.
Go and see a tea factory to witness the process of manufacturing tea.

Day 10

Options –
1. Visit Horton Planes. Horton Plains is an undulating 2000m high plateau 28km south of Nuwara Eliya. The grassy plains, which are interspersed with small patches of forest, are home to leopards, sambur, deer, bear, monkeys and a rich array of birds, including some endemic species. The most dramatic feature of the National Park is `World’s End’ where the plateau comes to an abrupt end and drops nearly 1000m vertically.  You have to go by foot from the entrance of Horton Planes National park. Witness the Bakers Falls – a waterfall on the way.

2. You can get a train tour from Nanuoya to Ella, experience mountain climbing and other activities in  Ella
3.Go to Kitulgala and experience white water rafting
4. You can end up your tour by dropping in to the airport
